My preference is Wednesday evenings, first because I’m unavailable Sunday evenings (other volunteer activities), and, second, because you’re already at your radio location, it makes sense to simply simply stay there for a follow-on net than to interrupt or disrupt two evenings for similar events/activities.
DMR, p25 or any other digital voice mode should have been moved to 220 MHz… An EOC or any communications hub will get interference from close in band operation, we see this constantly with 2 meter packet. In addition, this equipment uses more power and has the chance of greater break down at a critical moment
